Relaxation

The refurbishment of the relaxation room has now been completed and is now back in full time use.

The refurbishment work has included consultation with a number of service users. One area of work that has started is the development of a wall hanging mural. We currently have individual contributions which people feel reflect a little about themselves. This is something which is growing as others wish to participate. SoÖÖÖÖ.. watch this space.

The room now offers a very pleasant, bright environment to relax, listen to special relaxation C.Dís or just to chill out to your own ìsoundsî.

There is a projector showing images, fibre optic lights, revolving mirror ball and coloured spot lights.

For some of our service users who particularly enjoy tactile (touch) we have cushions with various textures and colours to lift the spirits too!
