Art & Craft

We encourage members to express themselves artistically.

Individual Projects
Centre members are helped to expand their creative experiences and try out a variety of techniques. People are encouraged to make choices and be independent in their work by focusing on individual skills. Work is displayed in the Centre and also other community venues.
Art Exhibition
Artists from St. Clair have exhibited at many exhibitions over the past few years. Two exhibitions are planned for later this year in:
  • The Adam Smith - 12th - 14th September
  • The Rothes Halls in November
Mask Making
A recent project by individual centre members, using a combination of techniques, has produced an exciting and diverse collection of masks, which are currently being displayed in our entrance gallery.
Bonnet Making
An equally interesting project that took place prior to Easter was the making of Easter Bonnets.

This culminated in a colourful parade during our 'Chase The Winter Blues Away' week and leaving the judges with a very difficult task to pick category winners.

Both mask making and the bonnet making are just two of many craft activities members use to develop and express their creative talents.
