Drama

Drama can be a way of learning about oneself, having fun and helping to make others aware of how you see life.

There is an experienced member of staff who takes Drama groups within the Centre. Activities promote interaction between peers at a group level as well as an individual level. Throughout the year there has been various performances, a Christmas pantomine and Stars in Their Eyes.

Drama for Learning & Trust

One staff member has a specialist remit to work with service users at all levels using drama.

Activities promote interaction between peers at a group levels whilst also helping individuals explore their own feelings, trust in others and understanding of every day situation through role play.

Drama for Fun
Whether it is re-enacting scenes from the popular soaps such as Coronation Street or Eastenders or making up your own plays, there is no doubt that a lot of fun, enjoyment and sheer laughter can be had from drama sessions. Small ideas often grow and when combined with other peoples efforts can result in shows that give pleasure to a lot of people including the families of service users.
