Talk Shop
Talk Shop is a small support group for carers, meeting on a monthly basis in the centre. The members have visited other care establishments and places of interest. They have also invited speakers to give them up-to-date information and benefits to which they are entitled and advise them on legal matters such as leaving a house to someone in their will. They have even enjoyed the occasional bar lunch!
The members, all ladies, have now known each other for several years and have supported each other through periods of stress and bereavement as well as share each other's happy times.
