What is the Ocean Youth Trust?

ìIt is a project where people go out on a boat for a week and it is a sort of working, team building sort of week. We also learn sailing skills and other things like cookingî.

How many people can be on the boat at a time?

Between us and the helpers and staff, there were 13 all togetherî

How many days did the trip last?î

ì7 daysî

What were the best bits?
ìAll of it was great so I couldnít really choose any one thingî.
Were there any low points?

ìNot that I can think of?î

Thatís very positive, was it hard work?

ìYes, but it was worth it?î

Was anyone seasick?

ìNo although we felt a bit queasy at times!î

Did you wear a life jacket?

Yes, all the time, that was very important in case we fell overboard.î

Did you get any training?

ìYes, how to steer the boat, how to cook and how to evacuate the boat in an emergency.î

What were the beds like?

ìNot very comfy!î

Did you ever manage to get out of the boatÖ.to go to the pub?

ìYes! And to get a shower, shopping and to buy some presents to take homeî.

Would you go again?

ìYes! Definitelyî
